The 80s were all about one thing: montages. It's true, they made movies solely because they loved making montages. If a movie didn't have a montage, the MPAA refused to not burn it. Here are some classics:
This is actually Michael Sembello's "Maniac" video, but it's got a ton of the Flashdance montage in it.
Technically a montage thanks to the music, quick cuts, slow motion, and the fact that quite a bit of time passes from the beginning to the end in only a few moments.
