We’ve all committed our fair share of hideous fashion crimes. If you are a girl, shoes usually shoes would make you smile. These shoes on the other hand are sure to make you want to gag. I’m sure all you have worn at least one of these shoes, and if not, you’re not cool! They were popular once and now that we reflect, we can’t help but think “why did I wear that?”. Yes, these are by far some of the ugliest shoe crimes ever!

Uggs

If there were ever a shoe made by Herman Munster this would be it. Not only does this shoe/boot look like a large cast made of suede but it’s become so popular we can’t seem to get rid of it. Ugg must be short for ugly, yes.. that has to be it. The designers must have been playing a very sick and mean joke on us.

 

Clogs

The Dutch must be laughing at us now! They created them bought them over and now we can’t get rid of them. These ugly wooden shoes have been a staple of many women’s wardrobes and haunting the trees they were cut from for years!

 

Crocs

Crocs have to come after clogs because it seems this sweeping phenomenon is the clog’s cousin! They were cute when two-year-olds wore them as play shoes, but now we’ve gone too far. Crocs with fur must be banned!

 

Socks with Sandals

This may not be a shoe but it’s certainly a horrible fashion don’t. Yes, I’m sure you’ve all seen it… and I’m sure you though are they confused? Why wear a sandal if you’re going to wear a sock, does it not defeat the purpose? That aside from the fact that white tube sock was NEVER meant to be fully exposed.

 

 

Open Toe Shoe Overhang

Yet another non-shoe fashion tragedy. This one disgusts me personally. I wonder if those who allow their toes to hang over the edge of their shoe feel pain as their toes rub the pavement? Next time you see someone committing this crime, tell him or her GET THE RIGHT SHOE SIZE!!! It’s not attractive and it makes your toes look obscenely long.

 

 

Clear Gel Shoes

Not only are these shoes ugly but the amount of sweat they cause should have been a sign. Doesn’t having completely clear shoes made of plastic defeat the purpose of a shoe? Not only that, but clear shoes are meant for strippers(men don’t let your daughters wear them)! I’m sure podiatrists all of the world screamed when these nasty germ propagating shoes came on the market.

I personally would like to write the Spice Girls a nasty letter for infecting our poor children’s minds with fantasies of space shoes. Those damn British, they’re all crazy over there! This isn’t fashion forward at all; it’s just plain old ugly.

 

 

MukLuk Boots

Damn the celebrity who made these popular for winter. While showing our appreciation for Native American culture may be nice, making the ugliest possible shoe isn’t the best way to do it. It looks like a squirrel/racoon squatted on your foot and held on! Poor animals who suffered for this one, it’s truly sad (especially cause they’re incredibly ugly).

 

 

 

Air Force One Stiletto

Nothing says “I’m ghetto” like these right here. I’m sure Nike never intended for this atrocity to happen to one of their most popular shoes. The women should have just let the men have this one.
