Whoops.  AIG used the classic time-tested formula for advertising success: put an adorable little kid with some comedic acting chops in a commercial, and give him technical dialogue, and let the sparks fly.  It's pretty funny the way he worries about his family's "Financial future," and wants protection against "market risk."  The dad assuages his fear with the simple line, "Buddy, we're with AIG."  OH GOOD!  AIG!  They are the reputable corporation who only a short time from the airing of this commercial will commit heinous and disgusting acts by rewarding the incompetence of their highest end executives by shelling out hundreds of millions in bonuses during the greatest financial crisis in the United States since the 1930s.  Thank God we're with AIG, dad. 

It's fun to look back at a time when we could watch this commercial, giggle, and sleep at night.
