We at Campus Squeeze decided something: we hate douchebags. Since there are quite a bit of them running around, we decided that there must be levels of douchebaggery. Some are worse than others, but all are awful. Our "Douchebag Report Card" is meant to grade the douchiest people of our society, so we know just how douchy these douchebags really are.
It's football season people. Everyone knows football is LOADED with assholes. There are tons of obvious ones, but what about Philip Rivers? He never shot anyone or punched a hooker, but he's pretty much a douchebag. Let's take a look.
Philip Rivers:
"God, strike this man dead!"
On Talking Smack:
The guy loves talking smack. And he's shown that he'll talk smack to ANYONE.
Other Players:
Really? Taunting Jay Cutler? Jay Cutler isn't famous like Peyton Manning, but it's really just a dick move to get in a guys face after he fails on fourth down. While it's true that football fans hate players like Tom Brady and Tony Romo (well, non-Patriots and non-Cowboys fans), but at least those guys don't throw middle fingers at the other team.
After the Patriots beat the Chargers last year, Rivers approached cornerback Ellis Hobbs after the game and called him the "sorriest corner in the league" and to "act like you won a game before." Then he turned to the rest of the Patriots and said "At least y'all are actin' like ya deserve it." Boo-hoo.

To Other Team's Fans:
Rivers demonstrated his lack of respect for football when after the Chargers beat the Colts last year, he made sure to mouth some choice words at their fans.
Unfortunately you have fast forward to about the 6:20 mark of the video to see his taunting of the fans, which was probably totally necessary on his part. Why wouldn't a millionaire need to turn around and rub a loss into 12 people? Hope he slept well that night.

Overall:
Why this guy can't just be a classy quarterback like everyone else is beyond our understanding. Come on, Phil, you get millions of dollars to play football! That's awesome! We have no problem with his passion, but there's a big difference between being into a game and being a dickhead.
