So you’ve just graduated and now your on the prowl… not for chicks, for a job. You hand your resume to every buttoned up stiff in the tri-county area but receive no phone calls or even a lead on a well paying endeavor, why? Because you don’t look like a working class stiff… yet. Firsts things first, learn how to tie your tie.
The wide end of the tie should extend about 12 inches below the narrow end of the tie.
Cross the wide end over the narrow end.

Turn the wide end back underneath the narrow end.

Bring the wide end back over the narrow end again.

Pull the wide end up and through the the loop that goes around the neck.

Pull the wide end through the loop knot that it made around the narrow end.

Tighten the knot carefully to the collar by holding the narrow end and and sliding the knot up.

There you have it, button that top button, tie that tie and mingle with the big wigs. You can look forward to years of hard work in a small white cubicle, gossiping by the water cooler.
