We have no idea how to react to this! It's pretty ballsy of a Parkinson's research association to create the ad, but it's also sort of confusing. If you made a movie with a comical character afflicted by Parkinson's, you'd be the target of some letter bombs, but they can do it because it's "their thing"? It's sort of like "Only I am allowed to beat up my little brother" theory.
This first commercial is for "Sen Reaksjon." That would be "Slow Reaction" in English. It's uncomfortable when you think about the irreversible nature of Parkinson's. Putting a "fun" spin on a disease that slowly kills the people it afflicts seems tasteless.
This second one is much better.
Wait, no it isn't. It's even MORE inflammatory and disrespectful. Why did they do this? To confuse everyone? Because it's SORT of funny but at the same time uncomfortable.
