Willem Dafoe is in tons of high-profile movies. Widely considered a great actor, he still has his hilarious "less impressive" acting moments. And they all seem to involve reckless amounts of yelling/overacting! It's good for us.
5.) AVENGE ME!
This one doesn't involve bad-acting, but it's a good example of Dafoe's love for yelling a lot. Did the script call for that? Yes. But suffice it to say that he took the role specifically for the yelling (not true.)
4.) THERE WAS A FIREFIGHT
Ok, this is a different story. This video shows Willem Dafoe's character from Boondock Saints (ugh, this character) screaming at the scene of a firefight. And you know it's a firefight because of how loudly he yells that there was one.
3.) Sgt. Elias Dies Like A Ballet Dancer!
Platoon is an awesome movie. Everyone loves it. And Willem Dafoe rightfully was nominated for an Academy Award for his role. His death, on the other hand, is a bit over the top. It's a copy of a photograph taken during Vietnam. Maybe it isn't the arms in the air gesture that makes it so over-the-top, but the way his body writhes around like a 101 improv class actor.
2.) You Know How Much I've Sacrificed?
Who didn't love Norman Osborn in the original Spiderman? He was good and evil at the same time. This is a great example of all the yelling.
1.) Compilation Of Horribleness From Boondock Saints
We're back to Boondock Saints. This movie combined both problems: yelling, and overacting. Not a good movie. This video is fun, though.
